Holiday Traditions at Semco Carbon
The holidays are a special time around Semco. We keep working, but we slow it down a bit. We use the time to take stock of another great year of work, and we spend time with friends and family.
As we celebrate the holidays and ring in the new year, we make sure our employees know how much they are appreciated. With that in mind, Semco provides its employees with a year-end bonus, a small appreciation for the good work throughout the year. In addition to being able to provide our employees with an end-of-year bonus, Semco is lucky in another respect - we are a company of people who enjoy being around one another. We celebrate that good fortune at our annual Holiday Luncheon, a Semco tradition adopted a couple of years ago. We’re based in the midwest, so there are no surprises on the menu: just delicious roast beef, fried chicken, scalloped potatoes, green beans, buns, and butter. And, of course, drinks. This is a chance for all Semco employees to share a meal together and catch up in a relaxed atmosphere.
This year, at our annual luncheon, we discussed 2019, but we also looked forward to 2020, a year we all expect will bring continued growth to our company, something that has always been driven by the hard work and innovation of our employees.
