About Semco Carbon's Equipment
Semco Carbon specializes in machining graphite and carbon components. Most of our products are cut and machined directly from raw starting blocks, which can weigh in excess of 2,000 lbs. We maintain an inventory on average of approximately 100 tons of raw graphite blanks in stock at our facility.
This large inventory, of raw graphite, consists of both extruded
graphite
(general purpose) and isostatically molded
graphite
(specific application) blocks and rounds.
Our ability to maintain such a large and diverse quantity of raw materials allows Semco Carbon to provide efficient customer service and short delivery times.

CAD/CAM Software

Semco Carbon uses the latest in CAD/CAM technology to machine our customer’s graphite components. We currently run MasterCam X Version 3, and can accept a wide variety of electronic file formats, such as: IGES, Parasolid®, SAT (ACIS solids), AutoCAD® (DXF, DWG, and InventorTM files), SolidWorks®, Solid Edge®, KeyCreator®, Rhino®, STEP, EPS, CADL, STL, VDA, and ASCII.
