Large Part Graphite Machining

While our current capacity allows large part machining. Semco Carbon not only provides customers with completed components, but also sells raw block graphite, partial block graphite, and semi-finished starting blanks to our customers who have their own in-house machining capabilities.

Graphite Surfaces Finished to Customer's Requirements

Due to graphite's unique properties and composition Semco Carbon is able to offer products with surface finishes designed to meet our customer's requirements. We typically offer the following surface finishes:

Tolerances start from nominal (+/- 1/8") on saw cut, down to (+/-0.0005") and tighter available with a surface ground finish.

Semco Carbon also offers re-machining services to extend the life of burned or damaged components.

All of our graphite machining is done dry thanks to our high volume dust collection.

All machining at Semco Carbon is done dry with the use of high volume dust collection and filtration systems. This allows machining without the use of contaminating coolants, all of which will ensure your components return to perform a second time.
